Booragul

We believe that we are inclusive and respectful of all children and families and our planning is always based around the children’s voices to create a sense of being, belonging and becoming. We reflect and learn from each experience as we create lifelong memories with the children.

Our relationships with our children and families are the most important thing to us as a team, building these special relationships helps to make the children feel safe in our care. Last year we implemented a seniors program into our afternoons, this was such a hit with the children as they made afternoon teas, did science experiments and planned craft activities, this expanded into a juniors and middle kids program on alternate days with the children planning exciting activities such as candle making and loads of craft activities.

We provide breakfast and afternoon tea that accommodates each families needs and values while promoting healthy eating and physical activity through planning meals with the children and implementing movement Monday and exciting outdoor activities.

As children are the heart of our programs we value and appreciate each child and the way they each individually learn and grow as a unique human being. We believe in setting up inviting and age-appropriate spaces so that the children are able to learn through play.

As a team we all come under the Fair Play philosophy but as individuals we all bring our own unique values to Booragul such as previous childcare experience, diversity and culture, sports and science, creativity and imagination.
